Nice job! I like the black and white. It looks good. I plan on using this technique on our facade and big tombstone to make them look older. They look too new right now. Plus a little misting with some paints will help give them a dirty type looks depending on what color you use. We are also replacing the facade doorway/curtain with a mix of burlap and tattered cloth to give a little more "old" look to the entire entrance. We are replacing a good portion of the Doorways/curtains in the haunt with burlap/tattered cloth actually. Anyways great job! kinda got carried away there lol

The problem is, is that I can't figure out HOW to make a mix CD. I tried limewire, but it wasn't working right and we had to delete it because it was screwing up our computer. Any ideas guys?

here are some grease makeup photos i had on my old sony ericsson phone from 2007. it was self applied with graftobian grease makeup, no prosthetics were used. this was my first time ever attempting self applied makeup but the outcome really surprised me. i tried to really touch base with the highlights and low lights around my eyes. the pictures really make the makeup look light, it was applied pretty dark to get the effect in the haunt. the teeth are dental distortions zombie teeth. <img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3221/2919678621_08cc26b906.jpg" /> <img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3133/2920522752_7b460b5e4c.jpg" /> <img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3021/2920522998_bfb5ebaf0d.jpg" /> <img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3113/2919678569_f7109916aa.jpg" /> and here is a shot with my iphone from 2008. again self applied zombie makeup, i also applied the makeup to jason [left] and brad [right] im obviously in the center. with the better mp camera on the iphone you can make out the colors better. <img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3198/3039582121_39434c700f.jpg" /> depending on the night and the expected crowd outcome for that evening. that will sway us in what direction we should go with our costumes, either full face prosthetics or a simple zombie face paint. prosthetics usually take about 2-3 hours to make up myself and my entire cast, usually around 5-6 people.

not sure if anyone used this method of painting but it works great for that aged look. i have been using this technique on my props & sets for years and it really does age the prop very nice. basically what you need to do is first lay down your base coat of whatever color you want the piece to be and let that dry completely. next you are going to get a topcoat color and lightly dip your paintbrush into it. on a scrap piece of wood or paper brush the paintbrush back and forth to try and remove a good bit of the paint from the brush, you want some paint on the brush but not a lot to paint over your base coat. then finally lightly drag the brush over the base cat you already left dry, this will create and aged look to the piece. here are some example of dry brushing. <img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b254/frightmare/sale/fogtowers.jpg" /> <img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3033/3016050649_9b58e31e2c.jpg" /> <img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3008/3016884192_7cbe07f264.jpg" />

guessing if you guys are building props and scenes you are using some type of spotlight to light the prop and/or scene, i was constructing barrel spotlights from c7 christmas lights. i was looking to start marketing the spotlight in the future possibly if anyone would be interested. im looking to switch from the c7 bulbs (they do get a bit warm) to LED spotlights, less electricity and cooler to the touch. not that the c7 barrel spotlights i have been using for the past 3 years no good, its just time for an upgrade. just curious what spotlights everyone else is using? i will snap some pics of my c7 barrels i constructed. if anyone is interested in purchasing some email me: <a href="mailto:frightmare@atlanticbb.net">frightmare@atlanticbb.net</a> we can work something out. i will also snap some pics of the new LED setup i have been working on. extremely small and puts out an incredibly powerful beam.

sounds awesome mike! welcome to the forums, its a bit dead here but after awhile i think it might pick up with enough word of mouth advertising. how did you run across the site just curious? cant wait to see the video's! i been putting together how-to video's that should hopefully be edited and released to the public in 2010.

i use my own mix that i produced. the Frightmare Studios AtmosFEARS cd will be released hopefully this year. there is some sample tracks on the main frightmare website and on my myspace.
